Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties
- Perform regular inspections to identify leaks, broken sprinkler heads, or other issues
- Adjust sprinkler heads to ensure proper coverage and distribution of water
- Program and troubleshoot irrigation controllers
- Dig trenches and install pipes, valves, and fittings for irrigation systems
- Operate power tools and equipment to complete installation and repair tasks
- Collaborate with landscape designers and contractors to plan irrigation systems for new projects
- Provide recommendations for water conservation and efficient irrigation practices
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in lawn care, garden maintenance, or landscape irrigation preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot irrigation system components
- Ability to dig trenches, install pipes, and build irrigation systems according to design plans
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in landscape maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
